Zinderella Red is a specialty zinnia that stands out with its unusual, frilly blooms. The flowers have a full, almost pincushion-like center, surrounded by rich red petals that sometimes lean toward cranberry as they age. Not every bloom is the same mdash; some are fully double, some are semi-double mdash; but they all have a bold, heirloom-style look thatrsquo;s great for adding interest to garden beds or bouquets. These zinnias grow tall and strong, handle heat well, and bloom steadily through summer. They do best in full sun and well-drained soil, and the more you cut them, the more they bloom. Whether you're growing for a home garden or cut flower patch, Zinderella Red is a solid, eye-catching choice.Zinnias can tolerate a wide range of temperatures, from 70 all the way up to 95 degrees. These can be direct sown in spring or started indoors, 6-8 weeks before your last expected frost in cooler climates. They can be grown pretty much year round in very warm climates. In fact, zinnias are your go to last minute garden addition in the heat of summer in virtually any climate. Grows up to 24 inches tall. Spent flowers should be removed (or fresh for vases!) to encourage more blooming. Please note that Zinderella zinnias are a specialty variety known for their scabiosa-style (pincushion) blooms, but not every plant will produce fully double or frilled centers. This is due to natural genetic variability within the variety, which is often open-pollinated or semi-stable. Environmental factors such as temperature, soil nutrition, and plant spacing can also influence bloom form. It's completely normal to see a mix of fully double, semi-double, and even single blooms within the same planting, this is normal occurrence in this variety. Can be grown in any zone as long as temperature requirements are met. Annual. This is for 50/250/500 seeds.
